How to Make Cartoon Video
You can use the Chroma Toons app to create cartoon videos. Most of the cartoon stories that children watch on YouTube are created with the help of this app. In the Chroma Toons app, you have to select a character, move it around and give it voice by speaking yourself. All the steps to create a cartoon are explained below with screenshots.
1. Install and open the Chroma Toons app
The link of Google Play Store is given above, with the help of which download and install the Chroma Toons app in your mobile. After this, open the Chroma Toons app, which will show some interface as shown in the image below. It is possible that the app asks for some permission, then allow it, only then you will be able to make cartoon videos.
2. Select the recording type of the cartoon video
As soon as you click on Let’s Start, a new interface opens which can be seen in the image below. Here you have to select the recording type of the cartoon video you are going to make. If the Android version of your mobile is 8, 9, 12, 13 or more then select Rec Type1 and click on OK.
But if your mobile’s Android version is 10 or 11, then select Rec Type2 and click OK. Keep in mind that if recording is not happening after selecting Rec Type2, then next time select Rec Type1 and open it.
3. Understand all the options for making cartoons
When you complete the above steps and look at the Chroma Toons app, you will see many options in it. Which option is used for what is shown in the image below. If you do not understand any option, then you can ask us about it in the comments.
4. Select characters for the cartoon story
When you understand all the options, you can start making cartoon videos. For this, first you have to select a cartoon story. For this, you can take the help of school books of small children. After this, click on the Characters option and select all the characters required in that story.
If you want to add more characters, you can do so by clicking on the SP icon. When you open the Chroma Toons app, by default 4 characters are selected. If you want to remove any of them, select None in that character. After selecting all the characters, click on OK.
5. Add audio file of cartoon story
Now you have to select an audio file for that cartoon story, in which all the dialogues and music of the characters of that story will be heard. You can also create that audio file with your own voice. For this you will need a Voice Changer app. Apart from this, if you get a free cartoon story audio file from somewhere then it is even better.
To select the audio file, click on the Aud option given at the top. After this, the mobile’s file manager will open. Go to the folder where the file is and click on that audio file and click on OK.
6. Select animation of cartoon character
No cartoon video can be made without animation of cartoon character. That is why in Chroma Toons app, all types of animations of whatever a person does such as walking, running, talking, getting angry, laughing etc. are given. Make sure to select the animation in each timeframe.
To select an animation, click on the plus icon (+) given just above any character. After this, select the animation required in that timeframe in the Default Move section and click OK.
7. Now make the entire cartoon story step-wise
Now make the cartoon as we are telling. First of all, click on the New option given at the top. After that, increase the time frame by one from the plus icon given below the REC option. After this, move the time up to 5 seconds. Now apply the animation of Walk to that character and move it from one place to another.
After this, again click on the plus icon given below the REC option and click on the Play icon given in the top-left corner. After this, the animation that you will see on the screen is shown in the video below.
8. Record the created cartoon and save it
Now you have learned to make a cartoon, but unless you record and save it, you will not be able to upload it to YouTube. When you have completed the cartoon which has at least 15-30 timeframes, click on the REC option given in the top-right corner. After which the entire video will start playing automatically.
When the entire video is played, click on the Chroma Toons icon given in the bottom right corner. After which the recording will stop and the recorded file will be saved in the ChromaToonsRecordings folder inside the Movies folder of your mobile’s internal storage.
